CACR, with sponsorship from Mumbai Aviation Fuel Farm Facility Private Limited (MAFFFL), We have successfully conducted a capacity-building program for 7,500 adolescent girls from 68 schools, 23 private schools and 30 BMC schools. The initiative focused on menstrual health management (MHM), hygiene, and overall health, empowering participants to manage their menstruation effectively." The program was conducted in two sessions.

The first session explained the changes that occur during puberty and the science behind menstruation. In the second session, participants were introduced to different menstrual hygiene products, proper usage practices, and how to maintain hygiene. The session also covered common challenges and provided practical solutions.

As part of the program, MHM kits were distributed to the girls, each containing two reusable sanitary pads and two pairs of panties, promoting sustainable and accessible menstrual hygiene.
