Adolescent Anemia implemented in BMC schools in Mumbai

According to the National Family Health Survey (NHFS-5) 2019-2021, 54.7% adolescent girls in Maharashtra are anemic. CACR in collaboration with UNICEF Maharashtra, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).

Kotak Karma

The Kotak-funded menstrual hygiene program successfully addressed the critical issue of menstrual health and hygiene among adolescent girls. The program, implemented in partnership with CACR, focused on promoting behavioural change and raising awareness about menstrual hygiene management.

MAFFFL (Mumbai Aviation Fuel Farm Facility Private Limited)

CACR, with sponsorship from Mumbai Aviation Fuel Farm Facility Private Limited (MAFFFL), We have successfully conducted a capacity-building program for 7,500 adolescent girls from 68 schools, 23 private schools and 30 BMC schools. The initiative focused on menstrual health management (MHM), hygiene, and overall health, empowering participants to manage their menstruation effectively.

1st July – 15 july Duration The Swachhta Pakhwada initiative, organized by CACR NGO in collaboration with the CSR teams of BPCL HO, BPCL Refinery, I&C, and ONGC, was a significant step towards promoting cleanliness and environmental responsibility.

The BCPT project aims to encourage school children to adopt plastic segregation practices by incentivizing and motivating them to foster behavioral change. The project was implemented in both Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) schools and private schools across Mumbai and its suburbs.
